The Goodwinch New Range of Commercial Lifting Winches
These specially designed lifting winch systems are built around our TDS-12 Winches.
For most applications we fit a Bow ‘2’ in either 12 or 24 volt with the appropriate Bowright heavy duty solenoids as seen in these photographs.
The winch is fitted to a heavy duty lifting frame allowing for several bolting positions to the winch and features heavy lifting eyes along the top. The two outside ones are for attaching the tested shackles and endless strops to act as a bridle to hang the whole unit from a central point and thereby keeping the winch level during lifting. The central shackle point is for the initial lifting of the unit into place prior to attaching the bridles.
In the centre below a strong shackle point is provided to dress the large hook back to when employing the supplied pulley block for 2:1 lifting.
There is a choice of three drum sizes, a standard drum (not shown), a large drum and an extra large drum as shown on this page.
Depending on the application, weight and distance of lift would dictate which sized drum to use and diameter of Dyneema Bowrope required.
The heavy cable supply for either 12 or 24 volt c/w quick disconnect Anderson fittings and battery connectors can be tailored to suit the application.
Likewise for operation of the unit for raising or lowering, the unit comes with the standard hand controls shown in the pictures overleaf, or as an option we can install a Lodar Wireless Radio Remote as shown on this page.
The standard freespool lever will always be disabled for safety reasons.
As a guide for the average application, say for a 15m lift, we would suggest either an 11mm Dyneema Bowrope on a large drum, or a 12mm Dyneema Bowrope on an extra large drum.
